The Hereford Community Forest is managed and protected by Forêt Hereford, a charity. Its mission of enhancing Mr. Neil Tillotson’s bequest, is of invaluable importance.
Although access to the mountain is free, maintaining it incurs significant costs. Every year, basic maintenance of the facilities requires thousands of dollars in materials and human resources alone, not to mention the parking lot snow removal costs that allow you to enjoy it year-round. Your donations will fund these essential maintenance operations to keep the mountain open to everyone and continue welcoming visitors safely.
Your donations also help us develop educational programs for young people, ensure safeguarding the historical heritage, carry out conservation projects for endangered species and regenerate the forest by encouraging the return of forest species presently extinct (particularly in order to increase the diversity and resilience of our forest in the face of climate change).
